Starting to write his own rhymes at the age of 10 , influenced by artist KRS-1 , RAKIM , NOTORIOUS B.I.G. , and TREACH of NAUGHTY BY NATURE , he has impressed all witnesses by engaging in rap battles from the age of 14 , to college parties and talent shows. Out shining all of his former undedicated group members disappointed him until joining his brother , and musically inclined nephews to an independent production company by the name of SMOKEY LOWE in December of 1999. Fatty has performed at South Carolina State University..s ..SPRING-FEST.. opening up for GOODIE MOB in 2000 . He has performed in several clubs in the vicinity of southern Connecticut , and made television appearances on local stations. He has appeared on a SMOKEY LOWE released four song CD lead by the song ..LIQUORISH VINES.. in April of 2000. Selling 300 singles , and distributing 100 vinyl copies to the CONNECTICUT RECORD POOL , and collaborated on a 21 track CD entitled ..INAUGURAL.. released by SMOKEY LOWE in the summer of 2001 (900 copies sold). He has opened up for comedians.. TALENT and TONY STEWART at the RAMADA INN..S ..COMEDY FRIDAYS.. , received a standing ovation at CLUB EDGE..S ..SHOWCASE FRIDAYS.. , and held his own event at club ..WINGS.. in 2002. He has performed weekly at CLUB BOKU..S ..PLATINUM TUESDAYS.. appeared in the Connecticut magazine ..STREET CONNFINEMENT.. January 2004 issue , with several of his songs featured on their 16 track mix tape . As one fourth owner of the independent production company , Fatty Ijaro leads the chariot for 6 other SMOKEY LOWE artist . With the release of his 2003 solo recording CD ..THE SYTH LORD LP.. the song ..PLAY HOUSE.. is featured on DJ ENVY..S mix tape, as well a winner on HOT 93.7 Showdown hosted by DJ Big man and K-Dub . The song ..Playhouse is featured on Winamp play list, and reached ..2 on the German station Druckvorschau: Neues radio. He made another appearance on the DJ Big Man and K-Dub show with his song , .. Girls and Boys.., in 2005 . Leadership is far from neglected , self promoting in the streets daily is FATTY..S motto. With self presentation and undeniable dedication for hip-hop music , FATTY IJARO is a force to be reckoned with. In the studio professionalism doesn..t take a back seat, but remains important ( Fresh Beat Recording Studio engineer , REASON .. ..it..s amazing how he is well prepared for the studio....) . Although he is not a small man , Fatty doesn..t allow that to interfere with his stage presence , ( RUFF DRAFT RECORDS EXECUTIVE, STEVE REESE.. .. he..s simply amazing on stage .. he gives a spectacular show .. ) . FATTY IJARO along with the support of SMOKEY LOWE ENT.Fatty Ijaro has also done benefit concerts for the ill child Hennessy Hernandez promoted on ctfisherman.com, opening up for rock groups and still maintaining the ability to move the crowd.
