I consider myself a D.J. only because of the fact that I mix records and use whichever other medium I can to create, manuver, and mix sounds and other music to create what I and most call "dance" and/or "electronic" music. That fact seems to make me a very big fan of the "underground" party scene. Those beats and sounds I create can be classified into many different musical genres or catagories. Those genres are named as follows: HOUSE, TECHNO, TRANCE, JUNGLE, D&B (drum & bass), BREAKBEATS, HARDCORE, and so on. Those genres may also consist of many different sub-genres. So that may give you folks a good idea on what I like to call, a hobby. --b.t.w., I may also like to partake in whatever else you've got planned--I'm a DJ. i jocky disks; the vinyl ones. i make 'em spin right round baby right round, yea, like a record baby.
I spin mostly BREAKBEATS, D&B (drum & bass ya'll), electro and anything that's got a phat beat, with twisted synthesized bass lines, and phatty effectual rhythms, ect...
