Boilersuit produce melodic, solid Indie rock. Sixties beat as well as modern British bands are important influences, yet the band retain a very own style and sound.
Innovative? Not really.
Nice? You bet!
This is what Boilersuit do best: They write catchy guitar tunes and perform them live.
Playing live is something the band really enjoys. Anytime, anywhere. This road rage has taken the band to many prominent Dutch venues and festivals. This year the band toured briefly with Danish band Campsite and before that the band has shared the stage with Daryll-Ann, Johan, Green Hornet, Supersub and Voicst, as well as international acts like Blackstrap and Lampshade.
In 2005 the band signed to Primal Grunt Bookings. In May 2006 the 3-track CD 71 was launched on 3FM radio and the release was followed by shows throughout the Netherlands and very good reviews in the Dutch Music Press.
2007 started very well with a gig in Paradiso, Amsterdam.
Boilersuit played more than 160 times in four years throughout The Netherlands:

Dutch press about '71' by Boilersuit:
Noord-Hollands Dagblad (news paper):
The End is a catchy tune with a pointy riff. It is an instant sing-a-long.
71 makes you want more.
MusicFrom.nl (leading Dutch band website):
Well-made guitar songs which give you a sunny feeling. The songs are catchy and you can listen to them over and over again. The foursome is ready for a full-length album.
Website Kindamuzik:
Looking for a pointier sound than that of famous Dutch band Bettie Serveert? Try Boilersuit! They make nice and easy Indie rock songs. On 71 they present three catchy songs, which are simply great.
pop magazine LiveXS:
Sometimes things can be very simple: You write three top tunes and put them on a CD. That is exactly what Boilersuit have done with their mini-album ‘71’.
Loes Schat’s touching voice is accompanied by brilliant guitar tunes. Really, nothing negative can be said of this EP: The songs are catchy, the layout looks well tended to and there is a clear website.
The only thing lacking is more tracks, but that can only be seen as constructive criticism.
