I'm a HUGE TRAVEL JUNKIE...for some strange reason I become neurotic when I don't or can't take off somewhere...I don't really go on vacations...I go on adventures...Its all about new cultures, breathing in a different environment, meeting new people...I tend to stick to central america alot...i like it...its fairly untouched...very raw... theres something about it...that sucks me in...i think its the beer...hehehe... CONFESSION TIME...this past year I've been forcing myself to settle down....ive tried to achieve stability...I went back to school, got a dog...actually unpacked the two lunch-bag colored boxes I've been dragging around for years...I tried to "hide" my passport from the gypsy ...unsuccessfully may I add....i grew tired, unhappy...almost depressed...I was miserable... It was a huge deal for me to try at least...to be boring...(i mean normal...hmmmm...)...to be mundane...with no travel...no banana jungle flights...no foreign currency...and accepting the painful deletion of all major airline websites from my favorites list.... I HATED IT...i was soooo unhappy...its just not me... so I've decided to stop feeding my doggie, Marley...so she can stay under the legal airline animal carry-on weight so she can travel with me (JOKING...K?)hehehe... i guess the point is...this is me...take it or leave it...an extremely in-your-face, Let's go-type girl... and i guess thats the way Ill always be...at least I won't be boring....hehehe... I love helping people in any way I can, especially children...I kindda go out of my way for the people I love...its part of me...I like to see them smile...keep them close to my heart...and soul...see them through the good and bad... "Good friends we've had and good friends we've lost along the way"....no matter what happens in life...live it, learn the lesson and walk the other way....if its not worth saving...its not worth having.... Im soo thankful for my friends...I've been blessed with meeting so many great people in my life...they have taught me valuable things...I love them dearly... The only thing I regret in life...are words unsaid...to people I've lost...everything with the exception of death has a solution...if you can't find the solution ...you don't want it hard enough... i think its exremely important for people to try to do their part in the world....theres a bunch out there that talk alot of smack...if you're going to do something...FUCKIN' DO IT MAN!!! don't hesitate...dive into it...whatever it may be...life is too short to bullshit your way through....enjoy it... LIVE.LAUGH.LOVE...and fuck the rest.... Among my favorite things are: ROATAN, volunteering my time to a great cause, laughing (thus my eternal hehehe's), sleeping/snoozing in men's white work shirts (don't ask), fashion, being lazy, tazo passion tea,diving, kissing, last minute adventures, FUTBOL (el mejor deporte del mundo!!), mariachi bands, sees chocolate, chet baker, songs that remind me of a moment in time, Jarabe de Palo, in-depth conversations on art/history/issues/feelings, receiving 4 am phone calls from special drunk people talking bull…hehehe…(you know who you are), the beach, stilettos, Gypsy Kings, road tripping in Central America/N. America, yoga, reading intellectually stimulating material, old Vegas, orchids, driving, cuddling with that special someone, sushi samba, discovering tucked away cafes all over the world, brutal honesty, flying, RAY BAN aviators, mango verde con vinagre sal y pimienta, doggies, sipping coca-cola out of a bag with a straw, walking in the rain in San Francisco, Gables gallery night, all night pool parties with friends, drinking Cerveza Imperial in Nosara, getting my passport stamped, smuggling foreign alcohol and dogs into the US...airport security (my ass!) and venti lattes with four raw sugars prepared by my favorite local barista TIM… I dislike “the” monotonous, people who think Honduras is in Africa, the person who calls me and hangs up at 5 AM (at least say hi, bastard), cooking, fighting/drama, the uncultured, mayonnaise, photos of moi, stupid chicks who abuse their boyfriends, stupid guys who abuse their girlfriends, supermarkets, un-flushed toilets (piglets!), those who don't have the courage to say what they think, stressed/undefined/dishonest beings, people who dont' believe in anything, gossip, criticism, hypocrites, "Miami-ness", mosquitoes and people who litter!!!! I believe that it’s impossible to describe the essence and the beauty of a person in a paragraph of words…in my opinion, it’s more about a look…a feeling…or a smile… I believe that in order to change the world for the better, you must see it…raw…without tour guides and without Louis Vuitton luggage… I believe that without music, life wouldn’t be worth living… I also believe that if every member of Myspace would donate five bucks …we could feed the starving children of world for years to come…. I hope to one day…master the art of base jumping, fall in love, learn to cook, help those who need education/medical care/food in my country, publish a book on photography, take great care of my husband and babies, learn another language, road trip through all of North America, see snow (hehehe), establish a dive center and much much more….
