I like a lot of Hollywood Films, but i think that most of the Hollywood Film creators are missing the point when it comes to the art of filmmaking (its not meant to escape reality, its meant as a tool to help understand reality), my favorites are Fight Club, Troy, Walk the Line, and Syriana.
