’Howden Recordings’ is a home recording studio based just south of Edinburgh run by a 3rd year Music Technology student;
Howden recordings offers a recording service to anyone who wants a demo recorded, mixed and mastered, drums tracked and more.
He is also an HND qualified pianist so session work and musical input from an experienced articulate player is available.
Andrew Howden has worked with various genres of bands in the past from solo acoustic to Hardcore metal bands from the East-Central Scotland area.
He offers premium quality recordings and is very open minded to many different genres so he can offer creative production ideas.
Andrew has been recording bands for nearly 2 years now, mainly his own bands which has gotten him that initial kick-start into the business and gained more experience recording local acts such as ’T.C.F.’, ’Milestone’ and "John Wineberg" to name just a few.
You are assured a quality service in this premium quality studio, with high resolution recording, quality microphones and a good engineer to match, Andrew will do his best to make sure you end up with the product sounding like what you were looking for.

A comfortable control room, with a neighboring live room, both rooms have natural light with a view over Midlothian.
