'A Short Story'
'I have loved music as far back as I can remember'
I first picked up an acoustic and learned to play it when i was 14, seeking out lessons in classical and blues however, my focus changed to playing rock and metal covers soon after.
I picked up a bass guitar when i was 16 and soon found that I prefered it to the acoustic/electric guitar because of the sound and feel.
Since that day, I have constantly been improving my skill on the instrument and my knowledge on the theory of music in high school and further education.
Qualifications
I currently hold both Higher and Advanced Higher qualification's in the subject of music.
I have recieved my Grade 6 in playing and performance.
I have recently recieved my HNC college degree and am working towards my HND degree and my Grade 8 (professional level) in playing and performance.
Past Projects
I am currently playing bass guitar for a metal/hardcore band ('Dead At The Scene') which i have been doing so for a year now. I have recorded bass guitar for the EP (released early next year) and also have been involved in the mixing and arrangement process. I have also experience in the aspect of touring from our 5 day tour (August 2007).
I have recorded bass guitar for a grindcore band ('Tracies Castration Fascination') in which i learnt and recorded 4 songs for their newly released EP.
I have recorded bass guitar for a jazz/funk band ('The Dou-Tapps') where i played on two tracks.
I have performed in a session band specifically for the college graduates of Jewel En Esk Valley College which i am attending.

I am currently trying to find as much work as possible to improve my skill on my instrument and I am available for musicians/bands to hire whether it be:
