About Me

OK, my name is John. I'm a laidback, private type of guy. I have a few friends, but it seems that they've scattered themselves around the globe at this point. I spend most of my time with my dog, Pharoah. We fish, hike, fossil hunt, play vollyball, surf, kayak, walk slack-line, cook, garden, and hang out in pawn-shops and thrift stores. I write and play music, not so much for you, but for me. I hope you like what I do, but don't expect you will. I think people suck, but love when proven wrong. I'm here to share my music and meet interesting people. That is some of what I'm about. Next, is a short bio of me I read in a music publication. Anyone know who writes this stuff?............. John was born and raised in the heart of the lowcountry, Charleston, South Carolina. Much of his free time is spent fishing the abundant waters and hiking the beautiful coastal islands, but when the surf is up, leave a message. "I just love the coastal waters. There is an energy in the ebb and flow of the dialy tides that speaks to my soul" , he admits. After graduating high-school, John went on to become a successful college wrestler where on scholarship, he studied vocal performance with top vocal coach, Mike Krueger. After a neck injury ended John's days as a competitive grappler, he picked up the guitar and left school to follow his passion for travel and performance. John's musical journey has since taken him to perform throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Under the weather

I've had the flu for almost a week. Will someone please bring me some organic chicken and rice soup. Some medicine would help too. Thanks.
