BlackSunshine Entertainment is a company based in Knoxville,TN. Our mission is to take the art of spokenword and the culture of hip hop to the community to invoke change in the hearts of underprivileged youth and their families. We seek to educate as well as provide an outlet for anger, depression, and frustration for the young people of today. We also seek to bring about an understanding of the differences that occur across cultures by performing before people of all different types of backgrounds and presenting an area for open dialogue.
BlackSunshine Poets are available for performances at school assemblies, classrooms, churches, and other community events. BlackSunshine Entertainment Poets are also available for weddings, engagements, funerals, or other events that may require poetry as a form of expression.
