Isaac. He's pretty hot. And smart. Smart and hot. I also like my friends (but who doesn't?). And writing letters. You know, the ones that come in an envelope with a stamp on it? I want to anthologize letter collections when I grow up, but I won't bore you with the details. Mmm, and I like food. Dessert, especially. Shyla makes fun of me because when we go out to eat, I order dessert instead of dinner. Which shows that I'm too cheap to buy both.
I'm just going to say Bruce Springsteen. If I funnel all of my energy and effort into meeting him, it might happen. Right?
NOT FERGIE. Someone, PLEASE stop her. If she makes one more song, I might have to move to a country with a MORE oppressive government that bans music.
I'll be the first to admit it -- I have a thing for Freddie Prinze Jr. But I also really like documentaries. If they ever make a Freddie Prinze Jr. documentary, let me know! I also like gangster movies like "Donnie Brasco" and "Casino." I love Tyler Perry movies, too. Not horror movies. I hate being scared. I'm all about happy endings when it comes to entertainment.
If I could put Grey's Anatomy in my glass pipe and smoke it like crack, I would. I also watch "How I Met Your Mother," but I don't think anyone else does. And ANTM!!! Always. My Homeboy Chad has me spending waaaaay too much time watching shows I don't really watch. Does that make sense? So, with him I watch Heroes, 24 and Smallville (though my crush on Clark makes that one worthwhile. He's just so GOOD).
"One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest" is the first favorite book I ever had and I still stick by it. I'm totally faithful. My next favoriet is "Portnoy's Complaint." I love Philip Roth. In another life (one where he wasn't 60 when I was born) we would have made smart, Jewish babies together. "Sophie's Choice" is so well written it makes me feel like I don't deserve to hold a pencil. I wanted to name Abraham after Langston Hughes, but Isaac wouldn't let me. Song of Solomon, by Toni Morrison. She's twisted, but I love her books. I love interesting biographies, memiors, letter collections, diaries (published ones, not the ones you find when you're snooping through drawers)...I'll read anything good.
Zora Neale Hurston. Sarah Silverman. Philip Roth. John Stewart. Tillie Olsen. Steven Colbert. Gavin McInnes. J.D. Salinger. John Stienbeck. Langston Hughes. Barak and Hillary. NOT Mel Gibson.
