film...getting this script done and not staying up all night...full moons...mist in the morning...thunder storms & lightening...going somewhere with no computers, no phones & my man...rain, rain and more rain...
Truly...I like to meet anyone and everyone...I'm enlightened by it all...smallest child...oldest soul...sometimes they go together.............WORDS I LIKE: disown............my path lies with thorns... in a sea of disbelief... and tides of uncertainty... where hypocrites preach... of integrity.........i the misfit... that didn't conform... i an outcast of... a world i disown...... ranni...................There are those who can see... But choose to remain blind... There are those who can hear... But choose to remain deaf... And then there are those... who want to live... who cry for help... But since we are blind... And we don't hear............They are forgotten....Ranni...
I copied my other blog over...so it's all in there...well...no, it's not, is it?...there's no way to put all that we are compelled to listen to in one place...currently Beck is on...did have in some Rufus Wainwright...prior to that...a little Ella, Aretha, Ernestine Anderson, & B.B.,...HEM, The Cure, Budha Bar series,...can I come back to this? Oh wait - I love Abra Moore's music...she's amazing and I'm blessed to have one of her songs in my film. P.S. Sorry Abra - I didn't get to our show in time...Memphis was a long way from L.A. when you're in a 90 foot RVThese two music videos are for my son Sammy...so that he can watch them EVERYDAY! :)GORILLAZ LYRICS"Feel Good Inc."Hahahahahahahahaha,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good,
Feel good.........City's breaking down on a camel's back.
They just have to go 'cause they don't know wack
So all you fill the streets it's appealing to see
You wont get out the county, 'cos you're bad and free
You've got a new horizon It's ephemeral style.
A melancholy town where we never smile.
And all I wanna hear is the message beep.
My dreams, they've got to kiss, because I don't get sleep, no..Windmill, Windmill for the land.
Turn forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is sinking, falling down
Love forever love is free
Let's turn forever you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?Laughing gas these hazmats, fast cats,
Lining them up-a like ass cracks,
Lay these ponies at the track
Its my chocolate attack.
Shit, I'm stepping in the heart of this here
Care bear bumping in the heart of this here
Watch me as I gravitate
Hahahahahahaa.
Yo, we gonna go ghost town,
This motown,
With yo sound
You're in the place
You gonna bite the dust
Can't fight with us
With yo sound
You kill the INC.
So don't stop, get it, get it
Until you're Jet Ahead.
Yo, watch the way I navigate
HahahahahhaaFeel good, AHHHHahahahah [x4]Windmill, Windmill for the land.
Turn forever hand in hand
Take it all in on your stride
It is sinking, falling down
Love forever love is free
Let's turn forever you and me
Windmill, windmill for the land
Is everybody in?Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady,
Watch me navigate,
Ahahahahahhaa.
Don't stop, get it, get it
We are your captains in it
Steady, watch me navigate
Ahahahahahhaa.Feel good, AHHHHahahahaha
Feel good,
Feel good, AHHHHahahahaha
Feel good....
JOHN FARNHAM lyrics
Again - blog from another time, another place...another MySpace name...I love foreign films - Kurosawa - most especially "Dreams" ... great short films ... I like Fellini's "La Strada" ... Godard's "Breathless" ... however, I don't take enough time these days to indulge in foreign film as much as I would like ... a little too much multitasking ... "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" ... most black and white films ... can I come back to this too? Wait...thanks to Lauren's suggestion...or was it Mahlea's?? "May" ... guilty pleasure ... offbeat. Also, another Sundance film I loved - "Donnie Darko"....
I mostly have on either the classics (Turner channel - no commercials) or Tivo'd episodes of Law & Order ... it's how I go to sleep if I'm not absorbed in a good book...Oh yeah...absolutely obsessed with "Rescue Me" ... it never fails to surprise me.
"In the Half Light" ... absolute fave of the last two years... "More, Now, Again" by Elizabeth Wurtzel the author of "Prozac Nation" and "Bitch:In Praise of Difficult Women" ... I'm currently reading "Constantine's Sword" by James Carroll - Carroll, a Catholic, writes this book about the Church's battle against Judaism. I think it is an engaging read but can't speak further than that as I have only read the first 5 or so chapters (having temporarily lost it at the car wash), ... I pretty much enjoy reading anything - regardless of whether the writer agrees with my sensibilities or not - I read to be entertained as well as provoked and inspired.
Again - blogville please...Although my heroes could fill the computer, some are very personal and some are shared by the majority of human beings. I prefer to just state - as I have in my blog - that it's anyone who makes the choice - sometimes difficult choice - of putting one foot on the floor in the morning and then the other...those who, despite their trepidations or misgivings, just do it and get it done."We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake . . . by an infinite expectation of the dawn, which does not forsake us in our soundest sleep. I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by a conscious endeavor."- Henry David Thoreau, "Walden, from “Where I Lived, and What I Lived Forâ€"
