Chances are, if you do not know me, then you would not understand...hell, most of my "friends" on MySpace are merely acquaintances -but for those who REALLY DO know me, I just wanted to extend my most sincere gratitude for enlightening my life and for being there. Many things do change over the course of time, but a few things will never change; my admiration for true friendship will always be a reminder, at least in some small part, of our true nature.
And for crying out loud guys -I know that I am cute, but I'm straight. Honestly, you have NO idea how many dudes try and hit me up on this site. WTF?
Ancient history, particularly Egypt. I enjoy studying magickal philosophies and practices. I have always been intrigued by the effects of the minds and hearts of mankind, especially concerning religion. I do not appreciate organized religion, but I tolerate it due to the shear fact that most people still choose to get wrapped up in one form or another. I eagerly await the day in which we can all walk amongst each other with the cemented walls of belief torn away. That day will become a reality once people learn to stand on their own. I await our destiny to unfold and remain hopeful that this sleep will end and the delusion will be nothing but a memory. Kinda Agnostic, I know...
I am currently serving my 10th year in the Army. I used to be an advocate for numerous patriotic political and legal platforms, but now that I wear the uniform I have decided to obey orders and stand down from taking any public stances.
I love the outdoors, and always find time for nature. I always manage to find the absolute truth within the reverence and splendor of it all.
I'd like to meet:
Um...I don't know. I guess maybe perhaps possibly I would like to meet with some of the scientists who are working on gravity field amplification and electromagnetic pulse propulsion systems and throw a wrench in their works with my supreme intellect. Yeah, like that.
Music:
Rock mainly. I sometimes listen to relaxing tunes by Enigma or Tori Amos (an addiction thx to an ex-girlfriend) or even classical, particularly Chopin. Some of my fav bands are Tool, Disturbed, Godsmack, Evanescence, Metallica, and Nickelback. -Hip hop and rap are CRAP. Grrr.
Movies:
Stanley Kubrick flicks rule. I also find myself identifying with Batman Begins and 'V' for Vandetta.
Television:
I do not watch TV, really.
