As a Producer, his credits include early demos for Alice In Chains, Gypsy Rose and Cloud Nine, but his interests fell not only to the studio. He explained, "People think that Im just a singer or a musician, but I think of myself as more of a Paul McCartney, Lenny Kravitz or Prince assuming all roles from songwriter to performer". In 2000, after completing a three-song demo in which he sang and played all the instruments, he was approached by a JVC A&R man and was offered weekly appearances on a Japanese radio show. Soon after, he was flown to Kentucky to record guitar tracks for Days Of The New (The Red Album on Interscope Records). The radio show appearances increased Tim’s popularity in Japan and after over a year of airplay and interviews, ANA airlines along with Tower Records sponsored a live show in Miyazaki, Japan and flew Branom and his band there to perform as a headliner. The performance aired on television and secured a strong fan-base in Southern Japan. In the songwriting department, Branom was named a runner up in the worldwide competition "Song Of The Year" in January 2004. Branom has also Produced three albums for other artists on the Laserlight label (Delta Entertainment) which have sold over 250,000 copies to date. Many of the songs he’s Produced can also be heard in film and TV and have been used by such companies as Wheel Of Fortune, Este Lauder, MTV, Everwood, Bum Bar Bastards, RPM Video, Delta Entertainment and most recently, The Marsh (2007) starring Deborah Kara Unger, Gabrielle Anwar, Forest Whitaker, Brooke Johnson, Justin Louis and Peter MacNeill. "Nothing has ever come easy to me", Branom says, "And I’ve never had luck on my side, but I think that’s strengthened my work ethic and made me stronger". Currently, Branom is writing, producing, performing and recording an entire album himself. Expect the new album from Tim Branom to be released in 2007. Fans and industry alike await the band’s much anticipated, dynamic performances, which have been compared to Linkin Park, Incubus, Foo Fighters and Nirvana. Look for Tim Branom in the coming months at various clubs in Hollywood, CA. "The band is tight, playing a blend of hard-rock and techno that grabs you and won’t let you go. The lead singer, Tim Branom, kicks ass with a sound that’s reminiscent of Chris Cornell, but with an edge all his own." - Lisa May, The Kevin & Bean Show, M - F 5:30am 10am KROQ 106.7 FM "...an explosive combination of hard pop, metallic rhythms and uncanny phrasings that leap out of the speaker and capture any listener lucky enough to be in its path ...Tim Branom is a shining new force on the LA music scene, a much-needed blast of fresh, inspired air" - John Webster, Writer The Village Voice "Handling vocals, guitars, bass, keyboards & percussion, Tim Branom is a one-man music machine that churns out a catchy combination of rock and techno. Buried Alive is a fresh mix of industrial beats and alternative radio-ready vocals and guitar. ...it is a crisp cut that engages the listener with a variety of tempos, sharp edits, and an increasingly popular mid-song breakdown or two. One must not forget that is how Nine Inch Nails got its start" - Carrie Bell, Contributing Writer Billboard Magazine "Sly lyrical humor and a driving rock beat reinforce the strength of Branom’s unerring ability to consistently come up with memorable melodies. Most modern rock acts struggle to achieve one out of three, but Branom clearly has it all." - Paul Suter, Contributing Writer Music Connection Magazine "Imagine the lyrical sensibility and vocal stylings of Matthew Sweet combined with the hard-edged, decadence of the Smashing Pumpkins. The result? Branom’s new single, Buried Alive, which blends sonic grooves and crunchy guitars with gritty lyrics, giving us an insider’s view of the seamy, furtive underbelly of the beautiful people’s Los Angeles. You know where you are? Branom shows us we’re Buried Alive in the jungle, baby" - Tiffany Owens, Editor In Chief Experience Hendrix Magazine "Tim Branom has pulled off a "Prince-like" trick for the new millennium. Playing every instrument, programming every sequence and singing every vocal on this single of "Buried Alive", Branom is a force unto himself. With his considerable talents, he has infused a contemporary sound into good old rock and roll. This techno-rock track has it all, from driving rave-like rhythms to a power that inspires. "Buried Alive" is a sure bet to get Branom the industry attention he deserves. A consummate writer/performer who played with such popular bands as Cloud Nine, he has finally branched out on his own to make the kind of music he loves, and it payed off." - Bernard Baur, Review Editor Music Connection Magazine "Branom’s use of samples and loops mimics contemporary pop perfectly." - Ed Spyra, Writer Tucson Citizen
