MyGen Profile GeneratorI was brought up in a French and Russian environment in the D.C. area. I was first exposed to the arts through playing the trombone for eight years, starting in 4th grade. For my last two years, I played in the east coast jazz festival with a big band. Durring my Junior year of High School I began working in theater as a crewmember for my first show and then delved into acting for the next four shows I was involved in. I was a leading player in every show I performed in, as well singing in an a cappella group. While getting a taste for music production through being a DJ, I moved away from performance toward behind the scenes work in film and video. my experience with computers and computer programming contributed to my, if I may be so bold, knack for Editing. To date I have completed a twelve-minute documentary on the Hardcore scene in the mid-coast of Maine ( shot on an XL2) , A short 9 minuite Drama ( Shot on The SDX 900) as well as several experimental shorts(Shot on the XL2 and 16mm Film). my future plans include studying film in France and in L.A. to broaden my knowledge of filmmaking and film theory... width="425" height="350" .... whenever someone asks me what my favorite movie is I always have to sit there for a while and mull over it. But I can still comfortably say that just by entertainment value alone my favorite movie is I think the Fith Element, or Fight Club, Or Boondock Saints, O Equilibrium... Damnit! and lately Crash and little miss sunshine

Books:

just the ones I've been reading lately The Man Who Heard Voices (novel about the making of "the lady in the water) Why I Am Not A Christian (philosopher named Bertrand Russell from the 1920's and 30's) and The Technique of Film and Video Editing Call me crazy but I just started reading Heidegger's The Essence of Truth
