Hug it Out!

About Me

I'm working hard for a living and still playing a little too. I'm lucky enough to be doing what I've always wanted to do, working at a TV station broadcasting sports. I love being active whether it's playing golf, church league softball or a night out on the town. I'm always up for a poker game. Charter Cable sucks! Hit me up on AIM "KillAllo". My Interests

I love sports and really any physical activity for that matter, plus I'm really competitive. I enjoy playing golf, softball, skiing, pool, poker just to name a few. I can listen to good live music for hours on end.

I'd like to meet:

Nice people, preferably not in therapy.

Music:

I'm really into singer song writer stuff. If it's acoustic and or has a piano chances are I'll like it. Popular artists for me are Coldplay, Howie Day, John Mayer, Ryan Adams, Matchbox 20, Jack Johnson, Eliot Morris and Cake. Those are some of my favorites but I enjoy a lot more.

Movies:

Can you go wrong with Braveheart? I've always liked the Matrix and almost any other movie that makes you think. Great Scott, can't forget the classics, Back to the Future anybody? or how about Spaceballs and the Wedding Singer?

Television:

I'm hooked on Entourage and The Sopranos and I'll admit it, if they had a CSI Grand Rapids Michigan I'd probably watch it. Law and Order is also easy to watch.

Books:

The Alchemist, and Friday Night Lights

Heroes:

Julio Franco and Ryan Freel

My Blog

Jack Bauer and "24"

Let me first say I do not watch the show "24". I understand it is a quality program and I would probably like it if I could get into it. That being said I have added a song called "Jack Bauer" to my p...

Complete Failures

Why is it that people who seem to be the most priviledged in life seem to make the worst decisions? Am I the only person who is sick and tired of hearing about stupid "famous" people? Take Michael Vic...

Boise State

People in general have a tendency to forget about that past and proclaim more recent events as the "best of all time". I think we may all be guilty of that, but I do not think that is the case with th...

Things that are absurd for 400

The giant inflateable Christmas figures people put in their yards make me sick. I would be embarrassed for the Christmas holiday, but seeing as it was created on December 25th to compete with the...

O-H-I-O

The talk of the college football world has been the Ohio State Buckeyes aka Ohio A&M (est 1870), who by the way sued Ohio (est 1804) over the use of "Ohio", and if you're scoring at home put a che...

Eliot Morris

About 4 years ago my good friend Matt Crumpton got all excited about this up and coming musician. He said I'm telling you this guy is awesome, he's going to be huge. That man was John Mayer, and Matt ...

News Lies... or creative writing

Being that I work in the media I have an interesting perspective on the way news stories are written and presented to the general public. I must admit its pretty disturbing. Most stories are complex. ...
