is it ever possible to do laundry without loosing a sock.... i am concerned for my socks... not just the ones that are lost but also for the socks left behind. how can i explain to the long black business sock that it now has to share a roll with the short sports sock... what if they don't get along, what if this prearranged situation doesn't suit the socks long term dreams of happiness...how do i go about finding the lost socks, for all intensive purposes they should be in the washing machine, that's where i put them, how come they aren't there now, should i post their pictures on milk cartons, should i have identisocked them? are they being kidnapped and sold on the black sock market... these questions keep me up at night, socially i feel i have an obligation to keep going keep asking deep questions, documenting the facts, until all the socks are safely home...
