I want to go home, but at the same time I don't....

About Me

Well, lets see...I am Gregory. I live in a house in OKC. I really like it, it is just the right combination of regal and ghetto. The house is pretty great, the neighborhood is kind of spotty. I think that is half the reason I like it. It is comforting on some level to see people of varying hues walking my street. Well, except the dude that is always casing cars on my street and probably broke into my roomates car - If I catch you again, asshole, I will hurt you. I rarely see a "W" sticker in my neighborhood, which, again, comforts me. I have a job that I dislike. I am working out how to go back to grad school. I can be charming. I can also be an ass. Sorry about that, folks. I scare the shit out of some people when I drive. I have a pile of guitars and amps. I make very loud noises with them, often in the middle of the night. The neighbors are my biggest fans. I had a weird, uptight religious upbringing - but a truly loving and wonderful family. Now I am basically agnostic or some such thing. I really like going to see bands play. uh, I think I mentioned women and whiskey elsewhere, so that pretty much covers it for now. I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4

My Interests

I like music. I like books. I like art. I have a deep, abiding affection for whiskey. I am rather fond of women, well - most of them, anyway. I live with thousands of cd's and records. I am currently putting all that shit on my computer. Thousands of books also inhabit my house. Most of them aren't mine. I like old machines. I think paper smells good. BoBo's Chicken at 3 am.

I'd like to meet:

Spunks from Tokyo!

All I have to say today is that Japanese rock bands get it.  They get Rock n' Roll better than the vast majority of American bands I have ever seen.  These little tiny deferential dudes at t...

Weekend

It is Monday, and I am back in the gray expanse of my office trying not to fall asleep.  I had a really good weekend.  I feel normal for the first time in a long time.  It has been a to...

Bukowski

I really love Charles Bukowski because: I awakened to dryness and the ferns were dead, the potted plants yellow as corn; my woman was gone and the empty bottles like bled corpses surrounded me wi...

Road Trip

I went on a road trip this weekend, which seems innocuous enough, but as is usually the case the trip was something of a controlled disaster - also known as a clusterfuck. We decided to go to the Wood...
