About Me

I live in Beirut, Lebanon. I take Arabic classes at a university here, which is weird, because I'm old, but it helps that there are other old people in my classes. Also, I'm going to be teaching soon, I hope.

My Interests

The motion of the planets, stars, and planetary satellites.

I'd like to meet:

seeing as how I only use Myspace to stay in touch with people I already know, pretty much nobody, I suppose. Wait, no... maybe people who live in Beirut who are, you know, cool and stuff.

AMM, Sakada, Morton Feldman, Helmut Lachenmann, Toshimaru Nakamura, Sean Meehan, more like that.

The Fast and the Furious trilogy.

Television:

The Fast Show.

Books:

more than the eye can see. Mostly about the middle east, the limits of liberal subjectivity, the uses of religion in the pulic sphere, and the ways that states make power. Also, I like X-Men comic books.
