Evil and great things alike are created by those who are not concerned by what people around them think nor say. They are ordinary humans only concerned with what is in they’re heart and mind, the desire to do whatever they will……….regardless of the consequences..................................... ............................................................ ............................................................ ...... Aperture are five different guys who through there friendship create, inspire and feed off each other to make not only incredible sounds, but all forms of artistic endeavour. It all began a few years ago when Gazi, Jeff and Mat started jamming and playing shows together in various projects over the Sydney scene. After a few stints with various line ups Brendan joined the band and so begun what was becoming a much different sound, but they were still without a vocalist. After a long search Luke finally appeared out of the blue in 2005 with a voice that shakes the core and it was obvious Aperture had formed. After locking down with much jamming and playing a few shows the ‘groove’ had been found and they’re first CD was recorded. A website was created as a medium to showcase this new music. Throughout 2006 the lads played more shows than they ever had before. This helped to mount some more live experience and evolve the band even further. Aperture had started to forge ‘a sound’ which filtered through to their technical song writing and live shows. 2007 has seen this experience be put to good use in their song writing and overall sound. They took some time off playing shows and have written a bunch of new songs that have a different feel from the previous. It is apparent not only Aperture are growing as a band but that there is a definite need for recording to be done. Aperture will heading into the studio in October 2007 to record a new EP and with a bunch of shows coming throughout summer it is definitely an exciting time for the lads.
