About Me

Facebook me! What do you want to know? I'm not English... I'm Canadian - born and raised. Moved to London in September 2005 to teach primary school and travel. I have a love/hate relationship with London. I hate the coffee here. I hate that there's no decent sushi restaurants. I don't know why Londoners seem to love to queue for everything. I hate that I miss my bus every morning, and that I spent just about as much on public transport as I did on gas when I had a car. I also hate that I had to sell off every asset that I had to survive here. But I love the people I have met. I love the accessibility to the rest of Europe. I love making pounds. I'm not sure that I love British school children, but I like my job alright. I love clubbing all night and carrying on into the next day. I love the shopping (although wish it were sized the same as Canada!). I also love the fact that my friends back at home think that I have picked up an accent - when I haven't!!! I suppose if you want to know anything else about me you have to ask!

My Interests

I love concerts, snowboarding, shopping, reading, sleeping, spending time with friends, and Starbucks coffee. I love the colors black and green, candles, the beach, procrastinating, deadlines, cars, hiking, warm weather, picture books, vodka, campfires and camping, road trips, spontaneity, laughter, randomness, talking, sushi, chocolate, sunsets, summertime, buying jeans, handbags, originality, ambition, intelligence, loud music, dancing, clubbing, traveling, sleeping, markets, and that sort of thing.

I'd like to meet:

Any other fellow travellers to share some stories with... or who just wants to listen to mine (hahah I'm serious). Anyone who's laid back with a good sense of humour and shares common interests.
