About Me

Tokyo has Godzilla. New York has Kong. The Rez has me.Okay so I'm not tearing up any city streets, but I like to think my presence is making some sort of impact. I recently moved back home from Tucson where I worked as a writer at the Arizona Daily Star covering television, theatre and the arts and am now taking a much needed break away from the hubbub of mass society.Until I get things figured out though, I still find myself swimming in the shallows. I've been concentrating on several writing projects including a series of short stories and a script for a play. Stay tuned for more details....Clans: Coyote Pass born for Towering House on the Mountain. My grandfather's clan is Bitter Water and my nali's clan is Black Streak People.Jobs: Navajo Times, 2003-2005; Seattle Times 2004, Arizona Daily Star, Tucson 2005-2007College: Fort Lewis College, Durango,Colorado Degree: English Communications Graduated: 2003High School: Sinagua High School, Flagstaff,Arizona Graduated: 1997

I'd like to meet:

There are a lot of people I'd like to meet - God, Changing Woman, Buddah and Allah among them. But alas, they're holy beings and can wait a while to meet them.In actuality, I'd like to continue to keep the friends I have and meet more people like them. People who are creative, loyal, have a passion for life, love to laugh and are going after their dreams.Secretly, I yearn to have tea with Oprah, cosmos with David Bromstad and wine with Jeffrey Eugenides.View All Friends | View Blog | View Pics | Add Comment
