Brooklyn Seven: Rage of the Phoenix

About Me

Brooklyn Seven was founded by Ishmael Ali in 2005. The name comes from a love of Brooklyn and how much it has shaped our worldview.

We create music to: 1. Express ourselves 2. Present alterNative views to mainstream ways of thinking 3. Make people consider answers to such questions as "what does tribal sovereignty mean in the 21st century, and how to resolve conflicts between tribes and the federal and the state governments?" 4. Combat payola garbage on the radio.

We are not conformists. We are not pawns. We make the music we freaking want to make. We are Brooklyn.
