About Me

Sweet Steve - California DJ/musician began collecting records back in 1979 with best friend Peanut Butter Wolf. Grew up watching PBWolf DJ since 1983. Started recording hip hop and alternative music in the mid 1980s with PB Wolf and others. Recorded the Baron Zen sessions from 1988-1992 in San Jose, California. DJed on KSJS at San Jose State University from 1988-1993. Shows included hip hop's "Project Sound" and 1970-80s soul "Groove Machine" (which he and PB Wolf created together). After graduating from San Jose State University, Sweet Steve left the music business to go to work and get married. He was brought back into the industry by PB Wolf in 2003 for Wolf's 20-year anniversary tour with shows in San Jose, San Francisco and Los Angeles. Sweet Steve has been DJing all around California since. He has also recorded a handful of mix CDs.
