About Me

Monarch is a four piece rock band based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Monarch formed in the late fall of 2005 where they recorded a three song demo which helped them to gain exposure in the local music scene. Over the past several months, Monarch has played extensively at local venues which include: The Depot, Liquid Joe’s, Ego’s, Burt’s Tiki Lounge, The Huka Bar and Grill, Brewskis, Kilby Court, The Urban Lounge, Club Suede, and many more.
Monarch has been featured on three of Utah’s top rock and alternative stations. KBER 101.1 Salt Lake Soundcheck has featured several of Monarch’s songs on the air, as well as several acoustic in-studio performances. Monarch has also been in-studio guests on 94.9 The Blaze and has been featured on X 96.3 Live and Local. In October of 2006 Monarch supported national touring act Shinedown for a concert in Salt Lake City, Utah.
In December of 2006 Monarch released its first EP titled “Eden”. They are currently in the process of promoting their EP and writing new material for a full length album which will be released in 2007. .
