About Me

Third time I've tried myspace. Still hate it.Feels like a blog where people can stalk me, too. I don't mind stalking, but blogging sucks, well, some of it. Personally I'd rather just DO my life and not WRITE my life.

My Interests

Capoeira - a Brazilian martial art which I have practiced for more than three yearsTravel - Home is undoubtedly where the heart is for me, but the excitement and sense of awe that travel gives me is invigorating.Music - Very eclectic taste in music and I definitely have a hard on for new bands and good music.Live Shows - Standup Comedy and Live Music are worth every penny the tickets cost.Cooking - What can I say? I'm a Portugese boy and I like tasty things. I have a very fast metabolism, or worms. Cooking is fun because you can explore tastes, textures, colors, venture into the exotic or the heart-warming, cook alone or with others (one of my favorite things to do is to throw the TV or a CD on, have a beer, and cook with the significant other).Animals - Owned dogs my entire life, I also train and swim with them. Currently learning to ride and care for horses, too, but I don't swim with them. Cats are fun, and you know when I've been playing with one because my eyes are puffy and my nose is runny.Good Friends - People like Devon Carver and Jeff L-Bishop make life awesome. Finding people in the world who just *click* with you can't be undervalued. The Mike Joliffe's, Nicole Medina's, who are warm-hearted and ever uplifting, I love em also. Megan Bergs and Craig (insert forgotten last name) who are insanely fun and witty and incurable drunks, make life fun.Like chocolate, without good friends, life wouldn't be worth living!

I'd like to meet:

Mestre Acordeon! I've been trying but I keep missing him!Mestre Bimba (he's dead unfortunately). My Grandpa Frank. I never got to spend a lot of time with him since he died when I was so young. People hate when I rub my beard stubble on them --- I do it because I remember he had a beard like RAZORS and he used to smile this creepy, loving smile, and hug me with a good beard scratch.

I quit my job!

I spent five months working for a high-end litigation boutique in downtown Seattle.  An hour commute each way, a stifling environment with many repressed people who, sadly, bought into the belief...

Seattle-ho

Currently packing my junk, getting in a last few toys for my dogs, and trying to completely avoid the fact that I have to drive 1,000 miles in two days.

A Frustratingly Difficult Question

Aw Poor Baby

In the words of my brother: "Awww Poor Baby!" The thought that comes to mind about the small exchange that happened today is "Wow, childish", oh, and self-centered/selfish. For as adult or mature as...
