As a Producer, DJ, and Sound Engineer, KION is part of Clandestine Cultivations (a London / Brighton collective / record label / promotions crew). His first 12" 'Yard Music' was released on Clandestine's First Offensive EP in July 2006, and 2nd release (KION EP) released in June/July 2007.
He currently holds a residency at Dub Pressure at the Volks Club in Brighton (previous guests have included SLT Mob, Youngsta, Benga, Skream, Distance, Plasticman, Hijack, Kode 9, Chef, Darkside and more), and is also on rotational residency at Platform 1, Corsica Studios in Elephant & Castle, SE London. A residency has also begun at new bi-monthly night Superdubpressure, held at the Concorde 2 (also in Brighton).
He has also guested at nights around the UK, such as Detonate in Nottingham, FWD at Plastic People in London and H.E.N.C.H. in Bristol.
He held down a weekly radio show with Unlikely on Sub FM from July 2006 to June 2007, and switched to Rinse FM in July 2007, playing weekly on Tuesday nights. He now has a fortnightly radio show with Unlikely every other Thursday night (11pm - 1am GMT), playing the best in underground bass pressure under the current catchall term of Dubstep, which is a constantly evolving underground sound that grew out of London and has now reached a Worldwide audience.
