About Me

I am with the most wonderful woman in the world. I am the father of two beautiful baby girls, and a stepson. I am easy going, fun, friendly and insightful. Bad habit: I tend to overthink things, yeah..but thats most people, isnt it? Well whatever. Like everyone else, I go through different moods. Sometimes I just get mad chill and want to take things slow....relaxin' and feeling nice. Other times I just wanna be the center of the party and get crazy. No matter what mood I'm in, I like laugh and have fun. I hate stress, and fight it at every opportunity. I feel blessed when I can help a friend with a problem. I am straighforward and tell it like it is, because it's important to stay true. I like to contemplate and I do get lost in my own mind sometimes...its even better when I connect to someone who not only posesses the ability but the desire to have those weird/intellectual/hypothetical/quasi-spiritual/lay-the-funk -on-your-brain kinda conversations. Seriously, probably my favorite hobby in the world is finding and connecting with good people that I can vibe with, because you just can't put a price on that. Too many haters and liars in the world, I don't have time for them. Life's too short, I want to fill my days with love and positivity. I tend to be analytical in my thinking, but find I am most happy when I I give that a rest and just let it flow... Take the quiz:

shows, friends. I love computers, art, chess, reading, the ocean, writing. I like astronomy because its just so cool to get lost in the depths..I like meeting new people because I think everyone has something uniquely for you, and vis versa. I love coffee. I love lightning, the beach, and live music-although not necessarilly at the same time. I love meteor showers and auroras , and getting lost when I have nowhere in particular to be.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet any party people with good heads on their shoulders and big hearts. People with multiple interests and hobbies, who aren't afraid to live big and who love to laugh. You gotta eat life up or it will eat you up instead. I want to surround myself with people who let their light shine for everyone to see. Positive people who are crazy yet grounded, who haven't forgotten what it is to see the world through a child's eyes, and have the emotional intelligence to know when not to. True friendship is a non-zero sum. Each person gets more than they put in. I have a lot to give, therefore I am hereby calling on cool people everywhere to give a shout out and say hello.

Any movie that questions values or deals with existential questions. I also harbor a strange love for Spaghetti Westerns like The Good, The Bad and The Ugly. Good Shit!! Anything Adam Sandler makes will be on my list of things to see.

Television:

The Simpsons
Adult Swim, The Daily Show, and Anime Unleashed
I watch TechTV, and I still watch those Seinfeld reruns. Guilty pleasure: any of those blind date matching shows. They crack me up.

Books:

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance Siddhartha, Catch 22, Narcissus and Goldmund,
The Fountainhead , Atlas Shrugged, Choke, and many others. Anyone know the heimelich?

Heroes:

My dad is the greatest person I have ever known (insert "awwwww" here). I also dig Odysseus as a fictional character because he never gave up, and Theodore Roosevelt because he was a real deal ass kicker.
