Hmm...music, cooking (mom said "if you like to eat ya better like to cook" so...), motorcycles, reading, movies, the bald eagle's nest outside of my balcony, I'm sure there's more but I can't think of it right now.
Anyone who has an open mind, is honest (very important) and not "hiding something"/being deceitful, someone who is somewhat intelligent, and likes to talk equally as much as they enjoy listening (interacting), know what I'm sayin'?
Way too many individual bands to name and it'd take me forever to type out. I'm into pretty much everything, honestly. Lately I've been listening to a lot of Mos Def, Meshuggah, Miles Davis, Explosions in the Sky, Lovedrug, Slipknot, The Roots, Wu Tang Clan, Faithless, Bad Brains, Tricky, Tool, Tori Amos, Massive Attack, Conjure One, Mahavishnu Orchestra, Chimaira, The Mars Volta, a lot of reggae dub music, and David Bowie. I'm tellin' ya, I'm all over the map.
Another long list and it starts and ends with anything by David Lynch and David Fincher (geniuses in my book). Recently though it's been all about: Flushed Away (yup, it's a kids movie but it's hilarious), Man on Fire, Stay, Kenneth Branagh's Shakespeare movies (like Hamlet, etc.), Jacob's Ladder, Sin City, The Red Violin, The Incredibles, Jackie Brown, The Godfather II, Brown Sugar, Any Given Sunday, Magnolia, Eternal Sunshine..., Fight Club, Ocean's Eleven, Vanilla Sky, Life, Boondock Saints, O Brother Where art Thou, The Show, Apocalypse Now, Hero, Velvet Goldmine, pre-Timothy Dalton era James Bond, The Italian Job, the Bourne Series, Mission Impossible series, The Machinist, and a bunch more...
Reno 911!, reruns of Martin, The First 48, Robot Chicken, Megastructures/Extreme Engineering, Planet Earth and whatever else might be on Discovery Theater HD. Call me a geek if ya wanna but those shows rock!
