IDLE TEERZ

About Me

The short story: We started in 2001 as a praise and worship band. We were asked to play at a teen event in the Rutland area. It went very well. After the event, though, several of us felt a calling to continue playing as a band. We came up with a name and scaled down the members..from twelve of us to five of us, and started writing our own material. Now four years later, with many member changes, and many songs written, we have finally started to get our focus. With the addition of our new guitarist in May, we found the sound we were looking for. We performed at the Vermont State Fair in September and were very well received. We are currently writing new material, in anticipation of recording a new demo disc, and are looking forward to getting out to play live again. For the long story, check out our website. 2006 finds us searching for yet another guitarist and drummer. Eric has decided to move on to solo material and we wish him the best of luck. Hopefully our paths will cross in the future so we can put together something spectacular again. Anyone interested in auditioning, send me an e-mail.
