I Love a Child with Autism!ROBBIE: He is nine and a half years old. He is now in the fourth grade!! He is autistic. He just completed his fourth year of soccer, with his team winning the under 10 division in the city!!!!He also passed his green belt test!!! He is in a special program at school called LINKS, which is for high functioning autistic children. He is thriving in this program and I have seen a vast improvement in his school work since we took him out of integrated classes. He is brilliant. Math comes so easily for him and he is a whiz at art. He also has pectus carinatum which requires him to wear a chest brace sixteen hours a day. It is caused by cartilage pushing behind the sternum and making the sternum stick out. The brace has helped significantly. For everything he has gone through he never complains and takes everything in stride. He also has done basketball, baseball and Boy Scouts! Robbie loves Pokemon, YuGiOh, baseball cards, everything on Cartoon Network and being in his bedroom! He likes his room clean and orderly! (Wonder where he got that from?)!

: She is six years old and is in kindergarten. She just finished her first year of soccer and she did awesome!! She is a great dancer!She dances tap, ballet and jazz! This is her third year of dance. She is extremly intelligent. She makes everyone smile. She is very outgoing. She now is a Pop Warner cheerleader which I get to coach! She loves her bedroom a mess! She loves Disney Princesses, My Little Pony and everything horses!! She is an absolute sweetheart!
