I am here for Friends

About Me

Ambitious contemplations, cityrail smiles, shoes in David Jones, the equine, adolescent siblings, a pinch of poetry, cooking with friends, a handful of string, Autumn wardrobes, and far more than an ounce of music.
I am going to complete Bachelor of Communications (Writing and Cultural Studies) + PostGrad in Editing, in lieu of becoming the Editor-in-Chief of a fashion magazine, writer and Bradshaw-esque columnist for the SMH and/or the NYT. This year I've filled my time with travel, meeting new people, and going on copious writing adventures - some of which have led to publication.
After a shoe-purge, I find myself needing to aquire a few more pairs than previously thought.
I do not enjoy reading frankie magazine. I much rather the smell, content, and texture of a glossy Vogue or RUSSH.
I prefer having my photos developed from a negative.

I want to do more than just exist.

My Interests

"Rosanna's interests include playing piano and cello, reading, dressage, fashionising, being foreign, imagining, and general journalistic endeavours.
She enjoys crunchy Pink Lady's, noodle bars, a good vocabulary, unagi, and her mother's cooking."
- Amelia Stevens.

A Siberian Butterfly on the Edge of Manhattan Island.

And this is the kid I sent into the John Marsden Poetry Comp, just in case it's poetry that floats your boat. (Think about the Chaos Theory when you've finished reading it.) A Siberian Butterfly on t...

So anyway, I was messing about with the keyboard here and came up with something very unlike my usual flowry style of writing, which subsequently surprised me into posting it here. I thought you migh...

BB O'Disaster.

Upon signing into the wild world of Ninemsn news today, I was presented with an image of Big Brother '07 winner, Aliesha, with a victorious 'rawr' plastered to her face on the news panel. Intrigued by...

SweeTart - Fashionising Food.

I assure you, when it comes to fashion - clothes are less than skin-deep. 'Fashion' exists within the foods one eats, the way in which one talks, walks, and carries their man-bag/hand-bag. It is the w...

Although generally speaking, I condone drinking due to its ability to provide the drinker with a belly, little money, and feelingly diseased organs the next day, I think we ought to examine those qual...
