About Me

Hey, I'm Asha,.. but most people know me as Lexy. I'm a free soul who loves the open roads. I push the boundaries a lot and try to get as much as I can out of life. I really enjoy seeing the world and have travelled extensively - sometimes finding myself in four continents over a space of a week. One of my favourite pastimes is to go roadtripping in the US. I have ventured to 30 states so far. I lived in Washington DC (working for the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade at the Australian Embassy) up until February and before that worked at the Australian Consulate in LA - which is my second home.Despite being a fairly shy gal, I do love getting in amongst the action. Some of my recent highlights include working alongside the FBI, Secret Service and LAPD and organising huge A-List black tie gala dinner's, with people including Nicole Kidman, Mel Gibson, Cate Blanchett and Hugh Jackman. I've met so many amazing people.. from James Hetfield (Metallica) to the Prime Minister.Much of my time in Perth has been spent working for the upper house of Parliament and as a project controller for an American engineering firm. Now I'm the Manager of the Americas at the Department of Industry and Resources. My role involves managing investments between Western Australia and the US. As a result, I'm back onboard the Gday USA program and will be heading back to LA in the next few months.I'm overly independent, which really means that I know what I want, and I work hard to get it.

My Interests

My interests are quite varied. In particular I love music, motorbikes, WoW, the stock market and film making. I have a gorgeous Aprilia RS 250 and 2006 Yamaha R6. Other hobbies include calligraphy, painting sketching, illumination and paper tole. I'm captivated by antique items (especially maps and medieval armor). I love concerts, making documentaries, writing (poetry, songs, short stories and currently working on two fiction novels), watching martial arts and boxing, guitar, raising animals, soccer, photography, medieval and gothic paraphernalia, exploring small towns and roadtripping.a
