About Me

The thespian/model Amin Joseph is a striking blend of west Caribbean and southeast American heritage. His glorious dark-chocolate complexion and trademark dimpled smile stands six feet on a chiseled football frame. Amin is exceptionally gifted with the dramatic breadth of Jeffery Wright and the comic smarts of Terry Crews He is a homegrown product of the World Famous Apollo Theatre in Harlem NYC, where executive director Grace Blake (School Daze, Silence of the Lambs) provided mentorship and first acting gig. Amin continued to volunteer for the foundation throughout college at Howard University (B.F.A). A few of Amin’s film credits to date include “Rage and Discipline” (pro. Roger Corman) as Bernard, a gang related boxer avenging the molestation of his girlfriend. “JADA” (dir. Cliffton Powell) as Ross, a young deacon saved from the depths of street crime. Amin’s televison credits include SHARK (stars James Woods) as Kelvin Barlow, a quick-wit arms dealer and “The Shield” (star Michael Chikis) as Billy, a corrections officer taking bribes for inmate protection. Amin (pronounced ..Amen) can most recently be seen in the Weinstein box office thriller “The Mist” (Stephen King) as MP, a no non-sense military personnel. This marks Amin’s second project with acclaimed director Frank Darabont.
