make my mother proud....pour out my soul until the floodgates open...tour the world before i know im even there...reassure myself that life takes time to unravel into something spectacular....defend my birthright to express my thoughts and follow thru with actions that justify my being....give a concious effort to making the world more real by being real myself....offer my soul to the highest bidder....but the price u pay will not measure to that of financial value....fracture what u think of me and replace it with the facts....have nothing to do with defeat....not pursue happiness, but simplicity......never be what u want me to be.....conquer temptations....take lifes lemons and throw them right back in lifes face....find myself more and more with each mistake i make.....enjoy being imperfect....

Tuesday, January 16, 2007"Katherine (who will be playing on the Ocean Spray Showcase Stage during the Air Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival next week) opened the show. Dressed in black, no longer blonde and with three lines shaved on either side of her newly-coiffed head, she was free of the technical problems she experienced the Sunday before at the Hilton - with one exception. Supported by Craig 'Phlea' Lee on drums and McGregor on guitar, she sounded gorgeous as she opened with Heart on My Sleeve. There was a slight break at the end of the number - one of her guitar strings decided to join the afterlife and snapped. A quick change of instruments and it was time to Feel the Burn. Her voice was both sultry and haunting during Pain Won't Go Away, which should have been the last number. However, one young lady in particular would not allow Katherine to leave. Not to be denied, she yelled And I and the trio obliged, ending with a subdued flourish courtesy of McGrergor, one last lick from Phlea and to the sound of resounding applause."
"Katherine, accompanying herself on acoustic guitar and with a flautist and other guitarist, rocked softly with Pins N Needles and informed "you can live your life like it's just for you/or you can share it". No Ordinary Love preceded the ending lament I'll miss you when I'm gone."- Mel Cooke, Freelance Writer'Best Of Tuesday Night Live' was the best

Sunday, December 24, 2006"Katherine, newly shorn, curled and blonde locks sparkling and guitar in hand, kicked off the event. With Jason Wharton on the flute and Craig 'Phlea' Lee on the drums, she sang Pins'n' Needles, Feel The Burn and Pain Won't Go Away. To say she was stunning would be putting it mildly. Performance poet Ganja put in a cameo with Katherine before soloing and sparkling."Michael A Edwards. Observer writer Thursday, July 07, 2005"The delightfully uncategorisable singer-songwriter Katherine demonstrated both a winning stage presence and an easy way with a song in what was essentially a cameo. Her cover of Coldplay's In My Place was preceded by an original, You're Rock n' Roll To Me that would not have been out of place on any MTV Unplugged segment or even in a larger venue anywhere in the world."-BOODOOMBAMSKENG!
