The Threat IS the New South. Bottom line. The three-man roster of this hip-hop trio is made up of three brothers with three distinctly unique styles - PyInfamous aka Inf (J. Thompson); Joey Bunns AKA J.B. (S. Thompson); and L. [L-Dot] (A. Thompson).
The Threat's roots are firmly planted in the Mississippi Delta by way of Clarksdale, Mississippi, a breeding ground for soulful artists such as
Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, and Nate Dogg. The day-to-day struggles of living in this environment for a short period of time have The Threat the mindset and perspective that helped to create hip-hop music.
The Threat has rocked venues of all sizes, opening up for nationally renouned hip-hop acts such as Coolio and Nappy Roots and have headlines several venues across the Southeast. The future is very bright for this group of emcees, so you should definitely be on the lookout for The Threat!
