things i love::: pickles, new jersey, brocolli, my family, sketching, all the people that have reached out to save my ass when I was totally broken inside, staying in my pajamas all day on sundays, honesty, striped tube socks with shorts, laughing untill your face hurts, a good country love song, summertime, tara and lauren, and the rest of down town bel air, eating raw cookie dough instead of making cookies, funky hats, my crock pot, will ferrell, biggie smalls, more pickles, BILL W, flavor-ice pops, and the 7/11. (you can take the girl out of jersey, but you can't take the jersey out of the girl...at least not her love of slurpees.) Things i absolutely DONT LIKE:::: Dishonesty of any kind, I95 N at 5:15, getting lost, doing laundry, carrot top, when people I love can't get sober, the gook at the bottom of the sink after doing the dishes, being afraid, music that ruins a good vibe, winter when its not snowing, people who say mean things and then say "just kidding", squash-(just cause it sounds gross), and the weird gelatin-like substance that has those seeds in tomatos.

ghandi, mother theresa, and kurt vonegut, and biggie. no stalkers or creepy weirdos, please.

Music:

I am feelin old school rythem and blues right now. Ray Charles in his early years has saved my soul. I like Mr. Charles loud, with lots of brassy horns and a mean piano... and I like him on repeat. Amy Winehouse is also a terrific new find. Anything with a deep bass and a hot beat. 1990-1995 gave me Biggie, Nas, JZ, Beastie Boys, craig mack, busta, Method Man... What else? I have always loved a good old fashioned country love song. I love the Dixie Chicks, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisely, Carrie Underwood, Kenny Rogers, Willie Neslson, Jonny Cash, the list can go on.... Folk music... like Dar Williams, Catie Curtis, James Taylor and the indigo girls... I love Radiohead in their early years, same for Dave Matthews. I love the classics like frank sinatra, or Harry Belafonte. I love this french singer named Edith Piaf who gives me the chills everytime I hear her sing. I like Nick Drake, Elliot Smith, Tom Waits, D'angelo, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Nina Simone, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, and Fiona Apple....Baisically anything with a good melody or beat and must have worthwhile lyrics...uch, this is too hard. i love a lot of music, i would say most anything excluding bands like tool, metallica, korn, and any other group that screams into the microphone.

Movies:

another vast category, anything with will ferrell, mafia movies, anything done by tarantino, kevin smith, Guy ritchie or ghristopher guest. if i had to specify a couple of good ones: the goonies, shawshank redemption, old school, the godfather and goodfellas, scent of a woman, best in show, noises off, the ususal suspects, and wildcats...thats enough listing, you get the picture.

Television:

mtv junkie, vh1's i love the 90's, bet, project runway, the wire, hbo on demand...

Books:

"eat pray and love." by elizabeth gilbert. buy it. read it. it will do great things for your soul.

Heroes:

my grandma, lauren, people who stay sober no matter what shit happens to them.
