Living and working on a small (3 hectares) "Maatila" "Land space" farm in the west of Finland. Trying to make this place work again! We have our own little part of the Taiga forest to look after and a few fields. After living here for nearly two years I´ve got back into building yurts (Jurtta in Finnish) as a way to make a living. We have a sustainable supply of wood and Finland seems very interested in these great spaces. Orders have started to come in and our workshop has sprung into life again. Having the time of my life, working with wood and introducing folk to living in the round. Going on tour in the summer with our yurt to various festivals and markets around Finland.
