The Heartburns

The band started in Turku, Finland in 2001. We played a ton of local shows at first. Released a 7-inch in 2003, with follow-ups in 2004 and 2005. Played a lot of shows around Finland. The original line-up broke up in 2005. Seemu and Lasse moved to Helsinki and started playing with some new guys. A 10-song cd came out on Full House records in october 2006. It was the last recording of the old band. The new band started out as a four piece, with Ice on the bass and Maukka on the drums. They recorded a split-ep with Drowning Nation in 2006, that came out almost a year later. A fifth member, the second guitarist HC, completed the line up shortly before that, and they released a new album called Fixin To Die on CRI, in early 2008.
