Band was formed in early 2007, formed by Tuukka and Anniina. A short time later Pyry and Markus joined the band, Pyry studying at the same school with Anniina and Markus (living in karstula 100km away) through a reguest posted on internet. Band started out jamming few cover songs, one of them Rancid song ''Ruby soho'' which is still played sometimes (after some arguing as Pyry and Markus don't really prefer the song). Band begun producing own songs soon after the lineup was formed as it was found a bit boring to play cover songs.
Now band has produced 9 songs, three of them recorded in early 2008 and the name Dogs Of Pavlov was decided at this time. D.O.P's musical style is mostly punk as heard on the demo-record, but recently composed songs have featured more influences from other musical genres, so you could say that the band is still searching for it's own sound.
