Some of my favorite groups/bands/songs/CDs are - Enigma, Code Indigo (Time Code), You Are That by Sanjiva, Pleiades Communication, Cusco-Apurimac, Metallica, Guns'n'Roses, Santana, Modest Mouse, The Faint, Postal Service, Decemberists, Cursive/Bright Eyes, Deep Space by John Stanford, Rammstein, the KLF, Pink Floyd, bush(the band!), Billy Idol. Older stuff - Steppenwolf, Dylan, Hendrix, Alan Parsons Project, In Your Wildest Dreams by Justin Hayward/Moody Blues, Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Deep Purple, The Animals, Cream, Iron Butterfly. Plus ambient, techno electronic, ethereal, particular chants, some particular kinds of rap. And a host of others!
I like most kinds of music, however I must draw the line at Polka/yodeling! ... it causes me to entertain thoughts of extreme violence. It's not pretty, I can assure you ;)

don't watch much television, but I do enjoy the Sopranos, Carnivale, science fiction, things of that nature, etc.
