I was born and raised in Minnesota. After high school I attended Winona State University where I earned a degree in Elementary Education. While there I spent a semester in Costa Rica and if you ask anyone who knows me I am always referring to it. It was one of the best experiences in my life. I went to San Antonio, TX to do my student teaching, I was then offered a job teaching 4th grade. So I stayed and made Texas my home for the next 3 years. I love everything about Texas...the cowboys, the music, the people, the food...but I have left that all behind. After meeting the man of my dreams I moved back home for a year and planned our wedding. After a perfect wedding we are now residing in the great state of North Dakota! And such happy newly weds we are! I am now teaching kendergarten and playing mommy to our chocolate lab!
A little bit more about me...I love traveling. I've been all over the United States, Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, San Andres, and New Zealand. I am very honest. If you want to know the truth about anything, just ask me. Right now I am practicing being the next Martha Stewart minus the jail time. I've been baking, quilting, scrapbooking...(hmm, that makes me sound pretty nerdy). I walk to work everyday. I speak Spanish (not as well as when I got back from Costa Rica, but I'm still pretty good.) I love being with my family and friends.
