If it's nice out, I love to spend the day, or at least part of it, outside. So glad summer's here!!!
One of my favorite things to do is curling up on the couch with a blanket, a cuddly partner, a bowl of buttery popcorn, and a good movie. Extra props if the movie lifts my mood and makes me laugh.
Other interests include spending time with friends (meeting for dinner, drinks, dancing, just hanging out sharing a good laugh, whatever); traveling (when I can afford to); going to a park and spending the afternoon just enjoying the nice day; surfing the Web; bargain hunting; making time for myself...
My Favorite Places:
Jon Stewart, Brett Favre, Oprah, God...(not necessarily in that order), and anyone that is true to themselves and has a contagious zest for life. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ br/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Practically anything - depends on my mood. I love acoustic performances, hip hop, r&b, sultry jazz, standards, classic rock, (some) country, alternative, rock, classical...Favorite artists right now are John Legend, Jamie Cullum, and Jack Johnson...Recently, I rediscovered the Cocktail soundtrack my brother and I listened to as kids, and figured out we were singing the wrong words! (Hey, book sounds like butt, doesn't it?) :) Oh yeah, and I wouldn't be much of a sister if I didn't mention my brother's band, Garpike - Dan can actually sing! The only music I don't appreciate is opera, and lately Nate's been getting me into house music...I'm likin it!

Way too many to list them all...quick and dirty version of the list is: 50 First Dates, Finding Nemo (really any Pixar picture), The Notebook, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, Return to Me, The Saint, Fried Green Tomatoes, A League of Their Own, Independence Day, Ocean's Eleven...
Not hooked on any one particular show...unless Green Bay Packer games count.
"Three Weeks with my Brother" by Nicholas and Micah Sparks. It's about their journey around the world and their journey in life. Read it!
"Tuesdays with Morrie" is another personal favorite, and I like Dean Koontz as an author. I love finding a real page turner that I can't put down, or something that makes me think about things in a new light and re-evaluate my perspective.
I think that term is used too loosely now, but a lot of people inspire me. Pictured below and to the right are those that inspire me most...
