i love fresh cut flowers (tulips are my favorite), i hate red roses, sparkling water (lime), iced tea, a pleasant chardonnay or Cabernet, bright post-its (and other things that keep me organized), green tea chai, my family, the rain (as long as i get to stay inside), anything that reminds me of California, people I love, cooking, sunsets, gilmore girls reruns, West Wing, politics, Shakespeare, candles (in white floral scents), coffee ice cream, TV on DVD, books, the holidays & all that they entail, the amazing friends i have.

I have a very serious love affair with books and couldn't possible name all the ones I love. Here are a few. The Great Gatsby, Tender is the Night, Fitzgerald in general really, Joan Didion: Democracy, Run River, Play It As It Lays, The Year of Magical Thinking. Hamlet (anything Shakespeare I pretty much worship), Mrs. Dalloway, The Hours, The Bell Jar, and of course Harry Potter. I also like a good biography.
