Neon Surge

Neon Surge is at the moment my main musical project. I composed, performed, programmed and produced all the tracks in my home-studio located in Cartersville, GA. Neon Surge officially began in late 2006, after spending several years in bands, and recording solo music as Trip Receptor. My music is almost purely electronic in nature, created with drum machines, synthesizers and sequencers. I do not set out to create music in any particular genre or style, rather Neon Surge’s sound is what comes naturally to me. I attempt to create music that is rhythmic, melodic, ambient and occasionaly powerful and dramatic. I like to think I release music that avoids electronic music’s cliches, and that has it’s own style. I guess you can be the judge of that. I am currently working on my third Neon Surge release, which is nearing completion. Expect it to be finished by early November, and it will hopefully be followed by a series of live appearances.
