Menice Biography

Menice born Timothy J Turner and later adopted becoming Timothy J Dollinger was born in Marietta Ga. on June 18th 1981. Menice is a talented young hip hop artist determined to make it big with or without the support of the industry. His style is unique as well as his writing ability. Menice is one of the most noted performers that brings energy and a swagger that keeps consumers and fans coming back and waiting not on just the next album but the next song. He is from a background that inner city and struggling families in general can relate to. His biological father Thurmond Turner was arrested and did Federal time when he was only two years old leaving his mother Janice Dollinger to raise her son with the help of her youngest daughter. Menice bounced around his hole life creating the young phenomenon that carries a style of the south, mid west and north east. After 10 years of creating music and producing other artist Menice is now on the path of making his dreams come true with a new label that is home based in Virginia beach after serving 5 years in the US army with a 15 month deployment. After putting his dreams on hold for his country Menice is more determined then ever to become a household name with hopes to give his fans exactly what they are looking for from a artistic point of view. Menice has more then enough material consisting of story telling, club jump offs, and just real hip hop songs to keep the market going. His true talent is being who he is and never changing no matter what the circumstances may be. Humbled by having nothing his real promise to hip hop is to give back to those with less and give up what he must to gain more. Influenced by his older sister who left school at 14 years old giving up a education to help take care of her younger brother Menice has done practically the same giving up time and money to take care of those around him including his wife who suffers from M.S. Menices wife Rachael who is his biggest supporter has pushed him not only as a father and a husband but as a man to be something greater then most. After most his youth was spent on probation due to felony charged in 1996 after being charged with breaking and entering, assault, destruction to private property and burglary charges Menice has made a huge change especially after being questioned for a murder in relation to a female friends father where he would later be dropped from the suspect list and decide to join the military. Now in 2008 after years of performing while in the military and featuring on other artist albums such as P Grimmys Year Of The Drunk, The Desert mix tapes, and Trinnitys I’m Here mix tape. Now working on his solo album with two singles already ready for radio play Menice is reenergized and determined to make a impact on the hip hop community working with the CEO’s and producers of GPP Global giving him the proper backing to live the dream of not only himself but those that have continued to support Menice and give him the drive to make numerous hit records. Menice in the oncoming years will be a definite force within the hip hop market on stage and on the shelves.
