About Me

I believe I was born about 10 years too late. I am a child of the 80's and one of very few people I know who would go back to the neon decade of big hair and awesomely bad music. Anything that happened after Saved By the Bell went off the air pretty much sucks, with the exception of meeting my gorgeous husband and the births of my two BEAUTIFUL children. I'm originally from Danville, KY- a town of about 15,000. What I miss most are my family, small town people with southern accents, mountains, farmland, and the lake! It is my dream to one day open up my own bakery/deli. I consider myself a connoisseur of all things sweet, so hopefully one day I will be able to turn these talents into a humanitarian profit. We have a plethera of fish; and for some reason we have turned into the homeless shelter for all abandoned aquatics. I also have a red ear slider turtle named Lola that my husband and I bought the day we got married. She's our little love turtle.

My Interests

things i'm into (in no particular order): my beautiful husband zachary, my gorgeous daughter aspen, my precious baby boy london, photography and all art, chocolate, appalachian and rocky mountains, astronomy, all italian food, kentucky, cooking and baking, colorado, purple, decorating for all major holidays to beyond tacky, sponge bob, most sciences, psychology, traveling, hot chocolate, snow, and reminiscing about being an 18 year old brat :)

too many to list- but i'm really into alternative rock, classic rock, 80's music!!, old school hip hop, bluegrass, blues, and some jazz..

all time faves: breakfast club, dirty dancing, swingers, fight club, and office space.

Television:

you'll find me watching Food Network, TLC, HGTV, ESPN, or Nickelodeon most nights... and this guy's show. it rocks:

The Book of Bunny Suicides, anything written by Augusten Burroughs, and Once Upon A Potty.
