So here it is. Deep Ellum, along with the local music scene, is slacking horribly. The purpose of this page is to start getting people re-interested in the area. Dates, times, and locations for upcoming shows will be sent out as often as possible, as will random thoughts and surveys on how to revive Deep Ellum. DED was founded by Deep Ellum dwellers who actually moved to DE at the end of last year, reputation and all, and we'd like to see our neighborhood get safer, friendlier, and just slightly hipper in the coming weeks and months. There are a lot of people standing with us, but we could always use more.
Tell your friends to "friend" Deep Ellum Drudge. Hopefully with some hard work, and help from myspacers, we can rid Deep Ellum of its current dangerous, crime ridden, weirdo hangout stereotype! (Well, we kind of like the weirdo hangout thing. But like, maybe weirdos with non-violent criminal histories.)
