Well I was born in the Galapagos Islands, mother Phoebe. I am 6 feet 6 inches tall, 300 pounds (mostly fat). I have big white eyeballs, black pupils, purple eyelashes and blue eyebrows. I am covered in bright green fur, I have clumsy feet, an extra long beak, extra-long curled up tongue, gawking neck and “slight†case of body odor. Some of my favorite foods are Cheesesteaks, Soft pretzels, Hoagies, Scrapple and Taskykakes.
One of my greatest moments was probably the year after I came to Philly when I was in the parade down Broad Street after the Phillies won the 1980 World Series. I would love to do that again. (Hopefully sometime soon boys…)
If you are ever at a Phillies game you can’t help to notice me. Riding around on my all-terrain vehicle before the game, I am at my mischievous best, mixing it up with opposing players and coaches, trying to knock them off their game to give the home team any advantage.
In the crowd - watch out! - I may clumsily spill a tub of popcorn, steal your girlfriend, buff a bald head or just sit down and watch the game with you - from your lap!
Hungry? Well, put on your glove because I like to shoot cooked hot dogs into the crowd with my four foot long Hot Dog Launcher, mustard and relish included.
And be on the lookout because I am always searching for a worthy dance partner. Maybe that dance partner can be you. So come out to the ball park and say hello. I always enjoy meeting my fans.
