About Me

Here's some additional info about myself.
I'm an East Coast guy (descendant of an Irish/ Italian - Heinz 57 mix but U.S.Citizen first) who can get around in the cities (Philly, NY, Balt.) and The state of "Jersey". Been married for 3 yrs. and have a 14 yr. old daughter from a previous relationship.
My daughter has been diagnosed with impairments that fall under the Autism Spectrum (PDD,etc.).
By getting married, entering my 40's and having an Autistic daughter turning into a teen over the last few years. Life can be pretty interesting at times. lol.
I also am getting more involved in the charities and fundraisers that can help bring Autism into the forefront.
I try to be as much of myself on the 'net, as I am in real life. Some people say I am getting more blunt as I older, others say I'm just being honest. lol.
I like to hang with people who are true to themselves and try not to claim to be something their not. This quote comes to my mind alot more nowadays:
"Greatness at something isn't determined by oneself, friends or family. It's decided by the strangers that are affected by such greatness.

My Interests

I like the Shore and I'm more of a Summer person. Try to stay outdoors in the Summer months.
Baseball, football and Nascar are the sports I get into. I go to more baseball games, forgot about more football than most know of and like some of the younger race drivers. I"m not a sports nut though. I think that's kinda silly nowadays.
If it's a beautiful day out. I'm there. Rather not be inside drinking all day watching sports. You only get so many of those days in life.

I'd like to meet:

Everyone who wants to be interactive in the alternative world called MySpace.

Free Video and Image Hosting
New Comment Code Layout GraphicsTo the people out in Myspace Land. I tend take MySpace as a form of entertainment. So, as I browse thru other peoples spaces and read about their deep personal thoughts, omissions of guilt and secret wishes. I've decided, I still would like to keep it entertaining here, to some degree.
Do not e-mail me asking why I should be your friend. If you have to decide whether you want to be my friend. Hey,It's not a life altering decision. To the people out in internet land, If your not in my Top Friends. Does it matter? Can I be offensive? Probably at times. Who isn't? If I offend you. Tell me.
I will state my thoughts on everyday life, my interactions with people I know (yes, the inlaws I occasionally mention really do behave like a cult) or at random and current issues in the media.
Remember,It's only the internet.

WAY OF THE WORLD TODAY

"We know the ugly hate the beautiful,/and the bitter losers are all seething/ over bad coffee." This is the way of the world,"the sorrowful versus the happy,/ and the stupid against everyone,/ especially them- selves".

"Wow, that"s deep"....."ok, back to my reality show".

Music:

Rock and Country for the most part. Add in a little dance and soul.
I have worked for the different concert venues in the Philly area, over the last fifteen years. I have been fortunate to see and meet alot of bands from all the genres.
The 'Jersey" bands have always been a fave(Springsteen, Southside,BJ), 80's hair bands (remember them?)
New music (The Killers,MCR) is always a good thing.
Dance and Reggae (Steel Pulse,O.A.R.) can get me going
Country (Toby Keith, Pat Green, Ken Chesney, Big and Rich) can set a mood.
Jimmy Buffett - his music stands on it's own.
I've seen to many bands over time to mention.
For concert reviews (my personal diary of the bands and the crazy people I meet) of the 2008 summer season in the Philly area, go to -

Movies:

Lots and lots of movies.

Television:

Most reality shows.
CSI,Friday Night Lights,Law and Order,Monk,House, Baseball,Football

Books:

Mystery (Stephen King), history or non-fiction. Lots on the Civil War.

Heroes:

Few of us will do the spectacular deeds of heroism that spread themselves across the pages of our newspapers in big black headlines. But we can all be heroic in the little things of everyday life. We can do the helpful things, say the kind words, meet our difficulties with courage and high hearts, stand up for the right when the cost is high, keep our word even though it means sacrifice, be a giver instead of a destroyer. Often this quiet, humble heroism is the greatest heroism of all....Wilferd A. Peterson.
