I am Hapa or Blackapinay or half Filipino/half black, FiliIslander or Mestiza. Whatever you're comfortable with. It's cool with me, just don't stereotype me, because I'll more than likely shatter it.I grew up in the Philippines with no real clue what is was like to be an "American" until I moved to the US when I was 18. After SEVERAL years I have left my job to concentrate being a wife and mother. Our first child was born in May 2007. I never ever thought I would be someone's mother and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my bulilit. I never thought I would get married as I enjoyed my independence and honestly after a couple of failed relationships soured at the notion, but since I met my husband, I really couldn't imagine life without him. He truly is a blessing. I just hope I can make him as happy as he has made me.Travel is my passion. I love going to a new country and experiencing it as a "local". My favorite vacays have been to Scotland (too many times to count and the single malt is wicked!), Majorca (the sangria was just TOO good, just don't eat the fruit!!), Egypt (live like the diva I truly am), Italy (where I spent five months on a TDY) and Austria (where I learned snow sports--for me--is restricted to the bar and not the slopes). I hope I can pass on this passion of travel to my child.What's most important to me are my family and friends and that everyone is happy. I truly detest the drama. I think that's all I have to say for now, as it comes up, I'll share more.
